Our club fosters the sport of rowing by catering for both recreational and competitive sportspeople.

At a competing level, the club aims to develop crews and individuals who compete in and win the ACT Club Championships. A small number of club members will go on compete at an elite level at state, national and international championships.

We encourage recreational rowing, and recreational memberships are available at a reduced rate. Family participation is a feature of the Club, with several families regularly rowing together, either as a crew or in crews with others of their own age and ability.

The club provides a fleet of both sculling and sweep boats, including a small number reserved for elite rowers. We support members in their skill and fitness development with a group of club members who are level 1 - 3 qualified coaches. Skill development is generally encouraged by beginning in single sculls, then progressing to crewed and sweep boats. Spring through to Autumn is best for starting rowing.
