The Club facilities are on the Black Mountain Pensinsula and it is the closest club, along with the adjoining Daramalan Club House, to the 1800 metre competition course. While club members regularly compete in events, it is entirely a matter of choice for individuals with many members choosing to row only socially. If you are interested in rowing in Canberra, we would love to see you.

The Club has its roots in both the Burns Rowing Club and the Telopea Park High School Rowing Club, both of which were formed in 1964, soon after the Lake filled. Club membership is open to all and it is the second-largest community rowing club in Canberra.
